Sky consults on HD technical requirements

Sky has announced that it will consult with broadcasters on the technical and content requirements for obtaining a listing in the high definition category of the electronic programme guide.Sky received a large volume of feedback from various quarters after publishing some initial comments on the matter back in October.Nicola Bamford, Sky's director of channels and operations, said: "Given that HD platform is still nascent, and that we received many detailed responses on the proposed HD requirements, we are holding an additional consultation on this part of the methodology."
